At The University Club of Western Australia, Hackett Drive, Crawley
Saturday 12 March 2011 from 8.40am to 6.30pm

"A range of distinguished presenters and audience participants will consider the ‘big picture’ of landscape with reference to indigenous and settler history, contemporary case studies and possibilities for the future. The forum will be opened by Professor Alan Robson, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Australia, and eminent agricultural scientist.

Speakers include Marion Blackwell, eminent landscape architect and botanist, as well as other landscape planning specialists, landscape architects, an architect, geologist, horticulturalist and botanist.

Please visit www.gardenhistorysociety.org.au for more information and to purchase tickets by Wednesday 2 March."

Marion Blackwell worked on the landscape scheme of Murdoch University, which I think is a very successful landscape scheme employing many native species.

$80 for full time students, $150 for non-students.
