The announcement of the 2011 Gold Medalist and subsequent Gold Medal talk will headline the awards night. The event will also place the achievements of people in architecture more firmly in the spotlight with various prizes announced, including the 2011:

If it's the Gold Medal talk, then I want to go. It's funny though - going to a mystery lecture, cos we don't know who it'll be!
I would be interested but it all depends on my financial state.
Mary has pointed out that it's the day before a design submission. So that's a no, from me.
